  • PINOLE VALLEY HIGH SCHOOL INTERIM CAMPUS

    Installation of portable classroom buildings, connection of portables to new and existing utilities,site improvements and installation of site furnishings.

    The work included:

    Fire lane and ramp transition landings at grade; demolition/excavation as required to construct new paving; sewer domestic water, electrical & fire alarm connection to portables; installation of low voltage conduits (limited WAN/LAN conduits), security cameras, intrusion alarms, Comcast and AT&T, as required for a complete installation; installation of perimeter chain link fencing (fencing includes both footing and post driven chain link fence and gates); furnishing and installation of electrical connection including conduit and overhead cabling/ wiring to service side of distribution panel; coordination with conformed survey of site for the building pads, portable stub outs, benchmarks and building corners; furnishing and installation of temporary fencing as required during construction; furnishing of lock cylinder and transitional housing keying to match WCCUSD Standard; installation and coordination with District to provide paper towel dispenser and soap dispenser; installation of shade structures; installation of concrete retaining walls and walkways.

  • SARAH B COOPER MODERNIZATION PROJECT

    General School Modernization and reconstruction including ADA Access and Fire/Life-Safety
    upgrades, including but not limited to interior and exterior painting, miscellaneous site work,
    flooring, door and frame replacement, plumbing, electrical, low voltage, window coverings,
    hazardous material/Asbestos remediation and other miscellaneous interior renovation work.

  • STONEHURST CHILD DEVELOPMENT CENTER

    Stonehurst provides a model early education program for preschool and an after-school program for children in kindergarten through third grade. The program is designed to meet the educational/social/emotional/physical needs of each child, as well as early literacy/mathematics and mastery of kindergarten standards.

    Juv Inc. was responsible for the removal of the existing Stonehurst CDC and construction of a new facility, including a new building with three classrooms, administration, outdoor play space and parking. Work included hazardous material abatement, concrete, structural steel, carpentry, casework, fiber cement siding, roofing, insulation, doors, windows, ceramic tile, acoustical ceiling, epoxy terrazzo flooring, sheet fl00ring, paint, signage, toilet accessories and fixtures, plumbing, fire sprinkler, heating and ventilation systems, energy management system, lighting, intercom, fire alarm, intrusion alarm, AC paving, chain link fence and gates, ornamental fence, irrigation, landscaping, and site utilities.

  • IDA B WELLS HIGH SCHOOL MODERNIZATION

    General School Modernization and reconstruction including hazardous material/asbestos
    remediation, building demolition, ADA Access and Fire/Life/Structural Safety upgrades,
    including but not limited to shotcrete work, shear wall installation, masonry repair work, framing
    and drywall installation, installation of fire sprinkler and fire alarm systems, clock & P.A. system,
    bathroom remodeling, exterior repair work, miscellaneous site work, interior and exterior
    painting, and other misc. renovation work.

  • YICK WO ELEMENTARY SCHOOL MODERNIZATION PROJECT

    General modernization of the entire campus inlcuding an existing 27,072 square feet
    educational building and reconstruction including Disabled Access, Fire/Life-Safety and Health
    Safety upgrades, including but not limited to ex1erior Exit Balcony structure with two stairs, Multi-Purpose
    Room addition, site work, hazardous material/Asbestos remediation and other misc.
    interior renovation work.
